The Multiprofessional Foundation School (MPS) has developed a simulation course for the multiprofessional foundation trainees (doctors and pharmacists), focusing on commonalities in learning objectives and professional competencies across programmes. This is a unique and excellent training opportunity for our trainees.
This full day course has a mix of acute and ward-based scenarios including management of acutely unwell patients, complex medication discussion, medication counselling, discharge planning, and mental health. Within each scenario, there are activities and learning relevant to both foundation doctors and trainee pharmacists and we are sure you will enjoy the collaborative working environment.
The course will comprise 6 Foundation doctors and 6 foundation pharmacists
This will count towards 6 hours of core Simulated activity in your Horus personal learning log & can replace the Foundation HF Simulation Couse if required or be be included as additional simulated activity which would then be counted as non-core hours
