General Practice

The Postgraduate Medical Centre delivers and supports ongoing professional development for GPs in Cambridge and the East of England. Teaching and training will be delivered by GPs and specialists, and is tailored to your CPD needs to support appraisal and revalidation.

Our popular GP interest evenings continue termly, and this year will include two new groups: First Five (relevant to newly qualified GPs) and Care Home Medicine, alongside the popular areas of Diabetes, Women’s Health and Substance Misuse.

We launched a new Care of the Elderly series in February 2015 and will continue with Seminars 2 and 3 in June and November of last year, with a combined clinical and pharmacological approach to look at good clinical care and prescribing for this population.

We offer a Top tips in 2 minutes guide and useful links, which can be downloaded here

Our aim is to be a local hub of learning for Primary Care, and would love to hear from you, to know what you need from us to support your learning. Please do get in touch with us for more information about any of our courses, or to let us know how we can help.
