The Cambridge Thrombolysis in Acute Stroke Masterclass


This one-day Course has been developed by Addenbrooke’s Stroke Department and aims to improve the assessment and treatment of patients with acute stroke.

A mixture of lectures and small-group interactive scenarios providing hands-on experience to improve the assessment and treatment of patients with acute stroke. The emphasis is on learning through real-world scenarios with patient volunteers.


Trainees (ST-3 and above) and Consultants in General Medicine, Stroke Medicine, Geriatrics and Emergency Medicine.

Nursing staff involved in the care of stroke patients.

The course is scheduled to run from 09:15 - 16:00 with registration beginning at 09:00.
