Cambridge University Health Partners, the Academic Health
Sciences Centre and the Institute for Continuing Education at the University of
Cambridge are pleased to offer the new Cambridge Clinical Medicine (Intensive
Care Medicine) Programme. We would like to draw your attention to this new
course for aspiring tertiary centre intensivists.
This two year combined clinical, academic and vocational programme is
specifically for senior trainees and new consultants in intensive care medicine
and is designed to enhance specialist skills and broaden understanding of
healthcare education, research and leadership. In essence the programme is
built for aspiring tertiary centre intensive care medicine sub-specialists, with
explicitly individualised training focused on the student's areas of interest
and personal development goals. The Clinical Medicine Programme includes a two
year rotation between the three intensive care units in Cambridge; Papworth
Cardiothoracic ICU, Neurosciences and Trauma Critical Care Unit and The John V
Farman Intensive Care Unit. The recent application details can be found here,
which includes further information about the rotation and a job description: http://cambridgecriticalcare.net/cammastersicm-posts/
